If you've never been to this wonderful venue, you're in for a treat. Best way to do it is to make reservations for dinner before the show. HRL is a true listening room. The food is great, but the focus is truly the music. There are no distracting TV screens, and the audience pays attention to the stage. There is an area at the back if anyone wants to have a conversation, so all are happy. There's not a bad seat in the house, either. The competition was stiff, but we were selected by a jury to perform a showcase at the Toronto Blues Society Blues Summit 9. Blues Summit is Canada’s not-to-be-missed biennial forum for all members of the blues music community including artists, presenters, agents, festival bookers, event organizers, radio hosts and industry representatives of all kinds. Our showcase time has been slotted for 8pm sharp on Sunday, Feb 3. Showcases are open to TBS Blues Summit 9 Delegates and wristbands are available for purchase by TBS Charter members only. Local 293 of the Hamilton Musicians' Guild will be hosting a concert to raise funds for the Bob Pedler Memorial Fund, and to celebrate their 115th Anniversary.

Acoustic Blend Café is an organization hosting monthly acoustic music concerts that have been operating on a not-for-profit basis in the Hamilton area since 2009. We are excited to stretch our boundaries by playing acoustically for this special show, which will be staged inside the beautiful auditorium of Melrose United Church in Hamilton, Ontario. Linda and Luis of Hamilton Blues Lovers have done so much for the music community for Hamilton and surrounding area. Here's our chance to honour them by being included as special guests of Trickbag (with their guest, Jerome Godboo). We are thrilled to be making our Supercrawl debut on their 10th anniversary. More than 220,000 people attended last year, and it just keeps getting better. You can catch Cootes Paradise performing on the TD Stage (South Stage) at 1:15 pm.
